Swearing?…No so bad after all!
Fun! July 1st, 2006
Well, according to the various comments and feedback I’ve had, it seems that most people are not offended by the use of “normal” language!
So just to be sure…
And to celebrate…

So some guy “reviews” AAFP on LinkReferral and gets all upset about my swearing. “Lose the swearing and this could be a good blog” - So how does the swearing detract from what I’m saying?
Well, sorry but I SWEAR in real life so why the fuck shouldn’t I swear here?
I really don’t understand why people get so exercised about language - I find the concept of “bad” language quite mystifying. What exactly does it do to the “stop swearing” brigade? Do they have some weird gland that become inflamed when they hear “Bad” language? Does it hurt?
I wonder if it IS genetic! It seems the Irish and the Scots don’t have a problem with the odd “bad” word. Unless, of course, they’re Holy Willies.

Anyway, I swear, if you don’t like it then don’t visit - it’s my blog and I’ll express myself just as I feel. I’ll bet you’re the same people who get all upset about breast feeding in public.
How about taking some time out from your indignation and condemn LYING instead. It seems that the Great and the Good can lie through their teeth at every opportunity but it’s OK as long as they don’t use bad language.
