Things…

I’ve been having a good wander round the blogosphere, as they call it, and I’ve noticed that people seem to be fascinated with “100 things” type posts.

Now really I think this kind of thing is utterly pointless and just a little Arty Farty but I thought that some of them were quite entertaining.

So I’ve decided to take a different approach and set up a dynamic “Things” list. I’m not going to set myself the task of completing 100 things as that smacks too much of lines at school and conversely I’m not going to limit my list to 100 things.

So let me know if your list is anywhere close to mine…

Things I Love…

  • My Family
  • Me
  • Our Dog — Yay! Willie!
  • Our Cat — Yay! Walter!
  • Mince n’Tatties
  • The Internet
  • Music
  • Scotland
  • Not much else!

Things I Hate…

  • Politicians, all of them
  • People who take advantage of others
  • Being Broke
  • Organised Religion
  • Lots of other things to come!

I Like…

  • People Watching
  • Trying to play guitar
  • Daydreaming
  • Deflating pompous arseholes at every opportunity
  • Driving (mostly)
  • Hogmanay (look it up if you don’t know!)
  • Female Company
  • Being Drunk
  • Flying (in more ways than one)
  • Doing absolutely nothing

I Don’t Like…

  • Sport, any sport
  • Male Company
  • Hangovers
  • Competitive people
  • Arty Farty food
  • Holidays (Vacations for you lot over the pond)..I get there and I want to come home!

I Am…

  • A Procrastinator
  • Honest
  • A Fantasist
  • A Smoker
  • A Drinker
  • Getting old physically
  • But still Young at Heart!
  • A “People” person

I Regret…

  • That my Dad died when I was only four years old.
  • That I fucked up at University
  • That I worked my guts out during my 30s & 40s chasing the illusion that is “career”. I missed a lot of my childrens’ childhoods as I was working to “better their lives”. It’s a con.
  • Not much else
